Visual Arts

Drawing and Painting

Students come to Art once a week for instruction. With each lesson and project, a basic element of art is emphasized to foster an understanding and foundation in the visual arts. Students are able to build on this foundation as their skill and understanding progresses.

Music

Beginning Band

All students, third through sixth grades, are eligible to be part of the band program. Beginning Band is available to all first-year students. Rehearsals are held twice a week before school.

Both Beginning and Advanced Bands perform at the Christmas program, band chapels, Knott’s Berry Farm, a band festival, and the Spring Concert.

Weekly private instrument lessons are available. (Additional fee)

Advanced Band

All second and third-year students who have made sufficient progress on their instruments can join Advanced Band. Rehearsals are scheduled twice a week.

Choir

Choir is available to students in second through sixth grades. It meets on Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 8:o0 to 8:45 a.m. Our choir participates in the Christmas program, Choir chapel, a Choir Festival, and the Spring Concert.

cooking

Cooking class is offered periodically. (4-6 week series in a session) Students will have the opportunity to learn using simple recipes. Sign ups are available one month before each session begins.

Chapels

All students and parents are welcome to join us on Friday mornings at 8:30 for a time of worship and instruction.
